Just had Shire Driveways and Landscapes install a driveway and patio in Caramel Latte resin bound gravel. We are very pleased with the result it really has lifted the kerb appeal of the property. The old concrete slab and stones were looking tired and shabby now it looks absolutely amazing. Simon and his team all worked very hard to achieve this final result and many thanks to them all. Five-star service from Simon and the Shire team began with my first phone call, when he actually answered. Other landscaping companies had stolidly ignored my phone and contact form messages. How rude!

Simon came round the same day, and skilfully designed a porcelain-paved garden, easily chasing away all thoughts of us replacing our split-level wooden decking with composite.

His polite and friendly, professional and skilled team have left us with a stylish outdoor living space to be proud of, and I can’t wait to spend the summer enjoying it and showing it off.

I can’t recommend Simon and the team at Shire Driveways and Landscapes enough.

I wanted to share how genuinely impressed I am with the team who recently completed my new block-paved driveway and front area. Living on my own, having work done on your home can sometimes feel a little daunting, but from the very beginning they made the entire experience easy, comfortable, and completely stress-free.

What they achieved in just three days was honestly incredible. I went to work each day and came home to see the progress they had made, and the transformation of the front of my house is amazing. What was once an ordinary space is now a beautifully finished driveway that makes the whole property look smart, welcoming, and something I feel really proud of every time I arrive home.

The team were polite, respectful, and incredibly hardworking. They arrived early each morning, worked tirelessly throughout the day, and kept everything tidy and organised. It was clear they take real pride in their work, and the attention to detail in the block paving is outstanding. Every line is perfectly laid and the finish is absolutely first class.

Just as importantly, Simon wes reassuring, friendly, and professional throughout the whole process. He explained what they were doing, kept me informed, and made sure everything was exactly right. That level of care and respect meant a great deal.

The result has completely transformed the front of my home, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the outcome. It looks fantastic and has made such a positive difference.

I’m a fussy customer with massive attention to detail so was watching closely whilst the guys were working and discussing details throughout, they rebuilt our front wall and the bricklayer finished it really quickly and to a really high standard. They then laid a block edging on the driveway and finished the driveway with tarmac. The finish looks great and is exactly what I was after. They turned it around really quickly and worked long days to get the job done. The pictures speak for themselves I think. Thanks guys.

Frolesworth is a small village and civil parish in the Harborough district of Leicestershire, England. It lies four miles north of Lutterworth, three from Broughton Astley and eighteen miles west of Market Harborough. The population is included in the Thurlaston civil parish.

The village’s name means ‘enclosure of Freothulf’.

A public footpath located near the side entrance of Hall Farm and from the church grounds provides wide views across surrounding countryside. The Leicestershire Round footpath crosses the parish and additional footpaths have been created around the artificial lake in the fields of Manor Farm. The majority of the parish buildings are aligned with or set back from the single main street in the village; with a small number of outlying farms, homes and businesses making up the total of eighty or so properties. The village’s boundary has changed little over two hundred years, with virtually all twentieth-century properties being infill sites along the main street. At the centre of the village is St Nicholas Church. The church commands the highest ground in the village; its tower is a local landmark when approaching the village during the day and at night when the church is lit with amber lights. From the season of 2008/09, the birth of its village’s first football club, Frolesworth United was founded by the youngest chairman in the history of English football, Sam Jacques at the age of 19. Currently in a relegation battle in the Alliance Division One under the management of Rodney Jacques.
